Summative and Formative Evaluations

Summative:
1) At the end make sure they tried their best, made the intended goal, and met all requirements asked of them.

2) Follow a rubric so grading is fair, then give extra credit to those who went above and beyond.
3) Hand them a rubric before so they can check it while they do their project (this could be summative and formative)

Formative:
1) Let them work during class so you can help them fix any problems.
2) Let students do critiques during class so they have different feedback to work with
3) Let them do a "test run" or rough draft before they do the final work.
